“Tourism companies must continue to play an active role in supporting the State’s economic development through a competitive and sustainable tourism sector, in line with the aspirations of Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0,” he said.
Masidi said this during a courtesy call by Sedco Travel & Tours, led by its chairman Mohd Shukor Mumin, at his office here.
During the meeting, Masidi was briefed on the company’s latest developments and its potential to further strengthen the State’s tourism sector and economy, including efforts to expand services that could add value to Sabah.
