MRT-3 remains fully operational amid Iglesia ni Cristo rally at EDSA

MANILA, Philippines — All stations of the MRT-3 remained open and fully operational on Tuesday, despite the ongoing Iglesia ni Cristo rally at the Edsa People Power Monument, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said.

In an advisory, the DOTr said MRT-3 stations from North Avenue to Taft Avenue continued to serve commuters as personnel and security teams were deployed across the line to maintain order and ensure passenger safety.

“Despite the ongoing Iglesia ni Cristo rally at the Edsa People Power Monument, all MRT-3 stations—from North Avenue to Taft Avenue—remain open and fully operational to serve our commuters,” the agency said.

The DOTr added that its station personnel and security teams were closely monitoring operations to keep train services running smoothly amid the expected increase in commuter activity in the area.

The agency reminded passengers to cooperate with authorities and follow safety measures while using the rail line.
