SANDAKAN: The Ministry of Local Government and Housing (KKTP) and Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) organised the first Heritage or Native Tree Protection and Conservation Workshop at the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), here, recently.
The two-day workshop was held to expose the local government to the management of landscape trees in a quality proportionate area through species and problem identifications and care methods.
It was to emphasise the importance of safety when doing tree maintenance work in the landscape areas.
