
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression "Neneng" has weakened into a tropical low pressure area (LPA) and has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), although cloudy skies will remain due to the southwest monsoon.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the LPA was spotted at 480 kilometers north of Itbayat, Batanes outside the PAR but was stationary.
The Ilocos Region, Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies localized rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Wind conditions across the northern and western coastal waters of Luzon are expected to be moderate to strong in a southwest direction, while Visayas and the rest of Luzon should expect light to moderate winds also in the southwest direction.
The rest of the country should expect light to moderate winds in a south to southwest direction.
