MANILA, Philippines — Former General Santos representative Loreto Acharon took oath on Thursday as an assistant secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino administered the oath of office at the department's central office in Intramuros.
"An Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations - Visayas and Mindanao, ASec. Acharon will oversee the execution of labor programs and ensure the seamless delivery of services to workers across the Visayas and Mindanao regions," the DOLE said on Facebook.
