NXLED is looking to make a statement in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All Filipino Conference with a strong lineup, featuring experienced players Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Philips.

Their opener against Farm Fresh Foxies will be a tough test, but the Chameleons seem ready to make their mark on Tuesday, 4 p.m., at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Van Sickle and MJ Philips are set to display their championship pedigree, along with teammates Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, Julyana Tolentino, Ranya Musa, and liberos Bang Pineda and Jellie Tempiatura.

Former Petro Gazz playmakers Djanel Cheng and Julyana Tolentino are also set to fortify the young franchise.

With the three-time MVP being on a new team, Van Sickle has nothing but excitement.

“Yeah, they’ve always been with each other. I know Chiara (Permentilla)’s been part of the Nxled Chameleons for a long time now. And it’s just, they’re very welcoming,” she told the media.

“They’re open arms, just accepting of us. And it’s been really good. Like Nxled, one thing that’s really refreshing about them is, I don’t know if it’s because they’re younger, but they just have a lot of grit,” she added.

Training for a short period with the young Chameleons, Van Sickle also noticed how the team is hungry for victory.

Veteran players Aby Maraño and Joyme Cagande join the squad, bringing experience from Chery Tiggo Crossovers while ex-Choco Mucho middle-blocker Aduke Ogunsanya adds strength at the net.

Farm Fresh, on the other hand, has also new recruits of Royse Tubino and Bia Genera, both from Choco Mucho; Mylene Paat, Ara Galang, Imee Hernandez, all from Chery Tiggo; and Remy Palma (Petro Gazz).

Carrying the lessons of Italian coach Alessandro Lodi, Farm Fresh will rely on prized-acquisition playmaker Alohi Robins-Hardy, together with steady offensive guns Riri Meneses and Ces Molina.

At 6:30 p.m., ZUS Coffee is set to clash against Capital1.
