SANDAKAN: The Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) is urged to play a more proactive role in carrying out their responsibilities.
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, said he regrets that MPS failed to transparently examine the complaints received.
“I hope the MPS could better resolve various matters related to maintenance.
“We can observe many blocked drains, unmaintained open spaces, broken street lights and uncollected garbage. This should be routine for MPS.
