No more green zones in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 243 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, with 20 out of 27 districts in Sabah registering new infections.

Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said there are no longer any green zones in the State.

“Each district in Sabah now has at least one active case. There are 10 red zone districts (41 or more active cases), five orange zone districts (21 to 40 active cases) and 12 yellow zone districts (one to 20 active cases,” he said in a statement, Saturday.

He said six districts recorded double digit cases, namely Kota Kinabalu (90), Penampang (33), Putatan (26), Sandakan (14) and Papar (12).

“Fourteen districts recorded single-digit figures while seven did not record any new cases,” he added.

Masidi said 241 out of 243 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was each recorded in category three and four.

No deaths or new clusters were identified.
