KOTA KINABALU: The Coroner’s Court was told that a police officer who simulated the incident involving Zara Qairina Mahathir did not have the exercise reviewed by an independent expert.
Inspector Maidon Bernadus stated that he did not seek verification from a biomechanist or specialist, as he had not received instructions from the Royal Malaysia Police headquarters to do so.
He also admitted before Coroner Amir Shah Amir Hassan that he was not a qualified expert in incident reconstruction.
