Barisan Nasional (BN) won 18 seats and Perikatan Nasional (PN) won 7, with Pakatan Harapan (PH) taking 11 – giving BN-PN a two-thirds majority to form the new state government. Bersatu failed to win any seat.

10:27pm: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated BN on its win and pledged the Federal Government's full cooperation with the incoming state administration, after the coalition secured a two-thirds majority, ending PH's eight-year rule. – The Sun Daily

9:50pm: BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said unofficial results show BN winning 18 seats, with PN taking 7. 9:28pm: Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan), led by Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, made history by securing its first-ever wins — taking three out of the four seats it contested. 8:27pm: Umno sec-gen Asyraf Wajdi announced that as of 8.20pm, unofficial results show BN leading in 18 state seats, while PN leads in 5.

8:21pm: DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke has lost the Chennah state seat to MCA candidate Siow Kong Choon (John), ending his three-term hold on the seat.

7:57pm: According to Umno sec-gen Asyraf Wajdi, BN is currently ahead with 18 DUN seats, based on unofficial results so far. PH has won 8 seats, while PN has taken 3.

7:19pm: BN Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is leading comfortably in the Rantau DUN seat. As of 7pm, unofficial results show Mohamad with 1,912 votes, well ahead of his PH challenger, Dr. Azizul Hakim Mahdi, with 772 votes. – Kosmo Online

7:17pm: [Unofficial] BN candidate and incumbent for the Linggi DUN seat, Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli, is leading his challenger, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun from PH.

Based on current counting, Mohd Faizal has 1,652 votes, Aminuddin has 803 votes, and Bersatu candidate Datuk Zamri Md Said has 69 votes. – Sinar Harian

Pakatan Harapan (PH) contested every seat. Barisan Nasional (BN) fielded 25 candidates, Bersatu 24, Perikatan Nasional (PN) 11, and four candidates ran as Independents.

Barisan Jamaah Islamiah Se-Malaysia (Berjasa), Parti Orang Asli Malaysia (ASLI), and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) each fielded one candidate. – Media Selangor
