MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of Metro Manila, Rizal and Cavite will have water interruptions this week due to maintenance works and service improvements, Manila Water and Maynilad said Sunday.
Manila Water said some areas in the villages of Parang, Fortune, and Marikina Heights in Marikina will have no water service on February 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities to detect possible leaks.
Some parts of Brgy. Santo Niño and Brgy. Sta. Elena also in Marikina will have no water on February 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of the replacement of a line meter.
In Quezon City, some portions of Brgy. Nayong Kanluran, Bgy. Bagumbayan, and Brgy. E. Rodriguez will have no water on February 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities.
Also, some areas in the villages of Pansol and Tandang Sora will have water interruptions on February 19-20 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities for possible leaks.
In Pasig City, some parts of Masilang, Brgy. Pineda will have no water on February 18-19 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. also because of step testing works.
In Taguig city, some locations near Labao St. corner Elisco Road, in Brgy. Napindan will have water interruptions on February 19-20 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities.
Some areas in Brgy. Ususan will have no water on February 21-22 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of declogging works.
In Rizal province, some places near J.P. Rizal Avenue in Brgy. Batingan will have water interruptions on February 19-20 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities.
Meanwhile, Maynilad said some locations in the villages of 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 430, 457 and 460 in Santa Cruz, Manila will have water service interruptions from February 16 to February 22 between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration activities.
Some areas in the villages of 147, 148, 149, 151, 152, 163, 169, 170 and 171 in Tondo will also have service interruptions from February 16 to February 22 between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. for the same reason.
In Valenzuela City, some places in the villages of Gen. T. De Leon, Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulasan, Maysan and Parada will have service interruptions on February 16, February 17, February 19, and also on February 20 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. due to network maintenance works.
In Quezon City, some locations at Brgy. Manresa and Brgy. St. Peter will have no water on February 16-17 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to leak detection works.
In Caloocan City, some places in the villages of 63, 64 65, 69, 73, 74 and 75 will have service interruptions on February 16-17 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the interconnection of related water systems near G. Del Pilar St. corner 10th Avenue.
In Cavite province, some areas in the villages of Bagbag I, Salcedo I, Salcedo II, Sta. Rosa I, Sta. Rosa II, San Antonio I, and San Antonio II in Noveleta, and the village of Tejeros Convention in Rosario will have no water on February 16-17 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to pressure testing activities.
