MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, and Rizal will have water interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Manila Water and Maynilad said Sunday.
Manila Water said that in Marikina City, some areas in Brgy. Concepcion Uno, Brgy. Marikina Heights, and Brgy. Parang will have no water on February 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities to detect leaks.
Some portions of Brgy. Tumana and Brgy. Concepcion Uno will have water interruptions on February 12-13 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing to detect closed valve failures, leaks, or hidden connections.
In Makati City, some parts of Brgy. Bel-air will have service interruptions on February 11 between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of preventive maintenance.
In Quezon City, some places in Brgy. Matandang Balara and Brgy. Holy Spirit will have no water on February 12-13 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities.
In Rizal, some areas in Brgy. Batingan and Brgy. Mahabang Parang in Binangonan will have service interruptions between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. on February 10-11 and February 11-12 due to step testing activities.
Also, some portions of Brgy. Dolores, and Brgy. San Isidro in Taytay, Rizal will have no water on February 11-12, and again on February 12-13 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities for leak detection.
In Angono, Rizal, parts of Brgy. San Isidro will have water interruptions on February 11-12 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities.
Also, some areas in Brgy. Palingon and Brgy. Calzada in Cainta, Rizal will have service interruptions on February 12-13 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of declogging.
Maynilad meanwhile said some areas in the villages of 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 430, 457 and 460 in Sta. Cruz, Manila, and the villages of 147, 148, 149, 151, 152, 163, 169, 170, and 171 in Tondo, Manila will have service interruptions on February 9-15 everyday between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration activities.
In Valenzuela City, some places in the villages of Gen. T. De Leon, Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, and Parada will have water service interruptions on February 9, February 10, February 12, and February 13 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance activities.
In Quezon City, some locations in Brgy. Bungad, Brgy. Dangay and Veterans Village will have water interruptions on February 10 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. due to replacement of a Meralco meter near a water system.
In Cavite, some areas in the villages of Bagbag I, Bagbag II, Kanluran, Muzon I, Muzon II, Poblacion, Sapa I to Sapa IV, Silangan I, Silangan II, Tejeros Convention and Wawa I to Wawa III in Rosario will have no water on February 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of a district meter.
Some parts of Brgy. San Juan I and Brgy. San Juan II in Noveleta, Cavite will have water interruptions on February 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of interconnection activities.
