MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of Metro Manila and Rizal will have water interruptions this week because of maintenance and improvement activities, Manila Water and Maynilad said.
Manila Water said some areas in Brgy. South Triangle, Brgy. West Triangle, and Brgy. Mariana in Quezon City will have no water on February 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities for leak detection purposes.
Also, some parts of Brgy. San Roque, Brgy. St. Ignatius, Brgy. Dioquino Zobel, and Brgy. Pasong Tamo will have service interruptions on February 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line maintenance works.
In Rizal, some areas in Brgy. Silangan in San Mateo will have no water on February 3-4 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line maintenance works.
Several parts of Brgy. Muzon and Brgy. San Juan in Taytay, some places in Brgy. Pag-asa in Binangonan, and several locations in Brgy. San Isidro, Brgy. Kalayaan, Brgy. Sto. Nino, Brgy. San Vicente, Brgy. Poblacion Itaas, Brgy. Poblacion Ibaba, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Brgy. San Roque, and Brgy. San Pedro in Angono will also have water interruptions on February 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line maintenance works. Some areas in Brgy. Dolores in Taytay will have no water on February 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line maintenance works.
Meanwhile, Maynilad said that in Metro Manila, some areas in several villages near Binondo, Tondo, Pandacan, Sampaloc, Sta. Cruz, and Rizal Avenue in Manila will have no water between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. everyday starting February 1 until February 8 because of leak exploration activities.
Also, some areas in the villages of 396 to 404, 430, 457 and 460 in Santa Cruz, Manila, and the villages of 147, 148, 149, 151, 152, 163, 169, 170, and 171 in Tondo, Manila will have water service interruptions starting February 2- February 8 between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m. to detect leaks.
In Caloocan City, some parts of Brgy. 36, Brgy. 39, Brgy. 189, Brgy. 190, Brgy. 191, Brgy. 193, Brgy. 194 and Brgy. 196 will have water service interruptions from 11:01 p.m. to 3 a.m. everyday starting February 1 until February 8 because of leak exploration activities.
Some areas in the villages of 158, 159, 160, 161, 162 163, in Caloocan City, and Brgy. Baesa and Brgy. Balintawak in Quezon City will have no water on February 2-3 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the replacement of a flowmeter device.
In Valenzuela City, some locations in the villages of Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Gen. T. De Leon, and Parada will have water interruptions on February 2 and also on February 5 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance.
In Bulacan, some parts of Brgy. Paco in Obando, Bulacan, and nearby areas in the villages of Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Isla, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Maysan, Palasan, Pariancillo Villa, Pasolo, Poblacion, Polo, Rincon, Tagalag, Viente Reales and Wawang Pulo in Valenzuela City will have service interruption on February 2-3 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance and system adjustments at the Parada Pumping Station and Reservoir.
