MANILA, Philippines — Residents and visitors in Cagayan de Oro City can access Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) services, including postal ID applications, during the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations’ (GOCCs) Service Caravan on June 29 to 30 at SM CDO Downtown Mall.
The two-day activity, organized in partnership with the Department of Finance, aims to bring essential government services closer to the public by allowing individuals to process transactions in one location. Admission is free and no prior registration is required.
PHLPost said the public may visit its booth to apply for a postal ID, inquire about available services, and receive assistance for various postal transactions.
Visitors may also avail themselves of other services such as the purchase of philatelic stamps and personalized “Selfie Stamps,” as well as the acceptance and processing of letters, documents, and parcels.
Customers may also access PHLPost’s Express Mail Service (EMS), a premium delivery option that offers faster and more reliable shipment of domestic and international packages.
“The Service Caravan is an excellent opportunity for the public to conveniently access PHLPost services in one location. We encourage everyone to visit our booth, apply for their Postal ID, and discover the various postal services that can help make their transactions easier and more accessible,” PHLPost Area 8 Marketing Specialist Cecil Cotapte said in a statement.
PHLPost said the postal ID application fee is P550, which already covers taxes and delivery charges for regular issuance.
Applicants are required to submit a duly accomplished application form, proof of identity, and proof of address.
