You won't believe a design that the PM has on this past week. Just look at Kenzo "casual sage green" shirt Bapa Fesyen Malaysia wore recently as reported by World of Buzz. The design looks like flames rising from the edges of his shirt. What a design!
Is it like hotwheels?
A netizen was quoted by World of Buzz who remarked that it reminded him of hot wheels. But we do not think so. Not quite.
Is it a design that represents burning flames?
If it was chosen by our PM to show that he's feeling the heat then it's probably right. May be he is feeling but we cannot be very sure. It's just a perception on our part. He's keeping mum.
The pressure on him is quite intense now from so many quarters but mostly from within his own party. UMNO is bugging him to call for an immediate polls. They want GE15 to be held soon.
The shirt shows that there is fire out there but the PM looks cool as always. "Let it burn out there but I am cool inside!" He seems to say.
Ismail Sabri our PM is keeping his cool. He does not seem to make any statement about GE15 except that it'll happen. But no date is yet announced.
We doubt it'll be this year because time is too short and the monsoon is about to hit the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Perhaps before schools reopen in March.
Meanwhile, every party is getting organised on the ground but we doubt that they would be ready even in next six months.
However, back to the shirt in question I would like to draw your attention to the flames in attached photo by Kana Studio.
Obviously there are similarities between the flames in the photo with the design by Kenzo. Kenzo might have been inspired by some red flames elsewhere not necessarily by Kana's.
In any case, by wearing that shirt whether intentionally or otherwise the PM is telling us that the race is hot now for everyone.
But while the price of the shirt is slashed by RM700 the election cost will be higher for every party involved. The poster put up by World of Buzz indicates that the shirt was priced at RM1750 may now be obtained at RM1050.
Inflation is affecting every aspect of our lives. We are sure the cost for an election campaign now is higher than what it was four years ago.
We hope the PM will be able to keep his cool in the face of all that fury out there.
