In view of the intense heatwave sweeping across Punjab, the state government has ordered immediate changes in school timings for all government double-shift schools with effect from Monday.
According to an official order issued by the Directorate of School Education (Secondary), Punjab, the new timings will be as follows.
Morning shift (first shift): 7 am to 10 am
Afternoon shift (second shift): 10.30 am to 1.30 pm
