British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe's 25 percent stake purchase of Manchester United is close to being announced.
The Mail states that there is yet another slight delay to the announcement of Ratcliffe buying up United shares.
The INEOS chief will be assuming sporting control at United, as he looks set to appoint a new CEO and likely a sporting director as well.
According to the source, United officials had hoped to broadcast the arrival of Ratcliffe next week on Tuesday.
However, they will now have to delay the announcement by another week, which will concern fans.
There are not believed to be any serious roadblocks preventing the deal from concluding.
