Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) has pledged to assist overseas Chinese in Sabah and abroad in order to deepen international relations and strengthen China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
Its President Datuk Frankie Liew said this following the first “Maritime Silk Road” Overseas Chinese Business Investment and Trade Conference held for the first time in China which he attended along with a number of key overseas Chinese businessmen and Malaysian leaders.
Frankie hoped that with more of such international conferences in the future, the Belt and Road Initiative will continue to go further, bringing more mutual benefits in culture, economics, and trade as well as infrastructure projects to friendly countries in the region.
