SANDAKAN: Municipal Council (MPS) President Walter Kenson joined Karamunting YB Datuk George Hiew to understand the cleanliness and infrastructure problems in Bandar Ramai Ramai.
According to Walter, his priority is to ensure cleanliness and tidiness as expected by the residents there.
“Citizens have the rights to voice this matter as it is the responsibility of MPS. We need to achieve a standard that fulfils the expectation of the citizens.
“We do not want to fail in implementing this to the point of becoming the target of mockery, as it will create a negative image for the Government, and this is what I want to avoid,” he said.
George thanked Walter for personally attending to the issues in Sandakan and hoped appropriate actions would be taken.
“Today, we begin in Bandar Ramai-Ramai, and after this, we will proceed to other areas in Karamunting, such as Bandar Nam Tung and Bandar Leila.
“Step by step, we will ensure that the issues in all areas are given attention and resolved,” he said.
