
SANDAKAN: The Sandakan team was crowned overall champions in the MSSS (Sabah School Sports Council) tennis tournament which concluded at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex on Friday.
They captured four golds, two silvers and three bronzes to top the medal tally in the four-day competition organised by the Penampang District Education Office.
Their gold medal winners were Braylen Odell Johannes (boys Under-18), Shawn Alfie Silvester (boys Under-15), Scharllotte Avryll Silvester (girls Under-15) and Bradley Oscar Johannes (boys Under-12).
The two silvers were won by Stevie Alfie Silvester (boys Under-18) and Sandra Allysa Silvester (girls Under-12) while the bronzes delivered by Sharvinesswaran Uigneswaran and Jonathan Josua (boys Under-18), and Mohd Faziezan Azief Rohjan (boys Under-12).
