VICE President Sara Duterte on Monday filed before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office a second perjury complaint against self-confessed “bagman” Ramil Madriaga.
Madriaga had testified before the House Committee on Justice during the impeachment proceedings against Duterte, alleging that he had delivered huge sums of cash to certain individuals on Duterte’s orders.
Duterte filed a similar complaint against Madriaga over his claims that her 2022 campaign was funded by drug dealers and offshore gaming operators.
The vice president was accompanied to the prosecutor’s office by lawyer Paolo Panelo.
Madriaga is also a witness for the prosecution in the impeachment trial of the vice president.
