MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday appeared before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office to file a second perjury complaint against Ramil Madriaga.
Madriaga testified before the House Committee on Justice during the impeachment proceedings against Duterte, making allegations involving her political and financial activities.
Duterte earlier filed a perjury complaint against Madriaga over his claims that her 2022 campaign was funded by drug dealers and Philippine offshore gaming operators.
She was accompanied by lawyer Paolo Panelo during Monday’s filing.
