Ten school students were injured after the wall of a building under construction adjacent to a private school suddenly collapsed on the school’s roof. The collapse of the wall caused the school’s roof to collapse, trapping the students under the debris.
The school staff immediately started rescue and relief operations. The children were rescued after the debris was removed but four of them were seriously injured, while six others also sustained injuries.
All the injured students were taken to BK Hospital for treatment. Upon receiving information about the accident, their families rushed to scene. Police arrived to inspect the scene as well.
Meanwhile, the school was immediately evacuated after the accident.
Police also inspected the adjacent building. It is being investigated whether it was being constructed in accordance with the rules.
