Police in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu are seeking help to locate Nur Bahiyah Ahmad Shukri, 23, who has been missing since 15 August
KUALA TERENGGANU: Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a woman who went missing after leaving her home at Jalan Masjid Bukit Kandis, Kuala Nerus, on August 15.
Kuala Terengganu district police chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor said Nur Bahiyah Ahmad Shukri, 23, described as having a tan complexion and standing approximately 153 centimetres tall was reportedly wearing a long-sleeved black blouse, brown trousers, and a brown headscarf when she left her family home at around 5:30 p.m.
He said the woman’s father lodged a police report at the Gong Badak Police Station on September 13 after attempts to contact and locate her proved unsuccessful.
“To date, she has not returned home. Although she has a mobile phone, calls made to it have gone unanswered.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact investigating officer Rosfac Mohamed at 013-4895548.
The case has been classified as a Missing Person case,” he said in a statement today.
