As per the guidelines of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society, Amritsar, a faculty enrichment programme was organised at the Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr Sec Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh. The programme brought together around 60 teachers from different schools functioning under the Chief Khalsa Diwan. The session, titled ‘Integrated Learning Approach and Implementation of ILP as per Specific Subjects’, was conducted by Rajesh Kumar Bansal, Principal, Century Public School, Mohali, and CBSE resource person. The resource person explained the concept of integrated learning and its growing relevance in today’s education system. He emphasised the importance of linking concepts across subjects to make teaching more meaningful, engaging and application-based. He further highlighted how such an approach helps in nurturing critical thinking, creativity, communication skills and collaboration among learners. Bansal also provided practical insights into the development and execution of Integrated Lesson Plans (ILPs) in subject-specific teaching. The programme was graced by Dr Paramjit Singh, president, School Managing Committee, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged educators to continuously adopt innovative teaching methodologies for holistic student development.
