Strictly star welcomes first child morning after last week's live show

• TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Will Best has announced the birth of his first child with partner Tobi Rose, a baby boy named Sonny Best.
• The newborn arrived on the morning of Sunday 11 October, shortly after Best competed in last Saturday night's live broadcast of the BBC dance competition.
• Best revealed the happy news through a series of hospital photos and videos on social media, as well as in a pre-recorded clip broadcast on Strictly: It Takes Two.
• The 41-year-old Big Brother host received widespread congratulations from celebrity peers and fellow Strictly stars, including his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell.
• Despite admitting to severe sleep deprivation, Best is scheduled to return to the dance floor for Icons Week to perform a Jive to Elton John's “Crocodile Rock”.
