Malaysian mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei beat China’s world number two to advance to the Indonesia Masters final in Jakarta.

NATIONAL mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei stormed into the Indonesia Masters final with a commanding semi-final victory today.

The world number four Malaysians defeated China’s world number two pairing of Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Ya Xin 21-17, 21-12 at Istora Senayan.

The convincing win was sealed in just 33 minutes, showcasing their strong form.

They will face the winners of the other semi-final between Indonesia’s Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje.

Malaysia’s challenge in the women’s singles ended at the semi-final stage.
