MANILA, Philippines — Team Solid North leaned on Justin Arana and Adrian Nocum’s fourth quarter sniping, while Japeth Aguilar scored on a three-point dunk late in the game to pull off a pulse-pounding 147-142 victory against Team South in the PBA Season 50 All-Star Game on Sunday night at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.

Arana scored 12 while Nocum eight in the last period which saw the Leo Austria-coached Team North overhaul a 10-point deficit.

The 6-9 Aguilar then sealed Team North’s comeback win with a three-point dunk.

The slam-dunkinj Barangay Ginebra San Miguel big man finished with 29 points, going 8-of-9 from three-point area (which covered the dunks) en route to being named the All-Star Game MVP honors.

Team North stretched its winning streak against the South to six All-Star games.

CJ Perez led North with 32 points, Juan Gomez De Liano and Nocum added 23 and 22, respectively.
