
MANILA, Philippines — Terrafirma ended its six-game long losing skid after routing Macau, 102-84 to keep its flickering PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup quarterfinal hopes alive on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
The Dyip outscored the Black Knights, 24-7 in the final period to pull away for good and won for just the fourth time since losing six straight.
The team opened the conference with three consecutive wins.
Jerrick Ahanmisi led the Dyip with 29 points and eight assists, while import Ali Mubashar added 24, 15 rebounds and five assists.
Rookie big man Geo Chiu had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds for Terrafirma, which is still outside the top 8 with its inferior 4-6 record.
Ramon Cao led Macau (2-9) with 27 points while Tony Mitchell had 22.
