Thunderstorms in several states until 8pm

SHAH ALAM – The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issues a bad weather warning for several states this evening until 8 pm.

In a statement, the department forecasted the states expected to be hit by thunderstorms tonight were Perak, Melaka, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan.

In Terengganu, the four districts that would likely be hit by thunderstorms were Dungun, Kemaman, Besut and Setiu.

MetMalaysia also advised people in Cameron Highland, Lipis, Bentong and Rompin to be cautious of the bad weather.

Those in Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat, Selangor were also told to be cautious as well.

As for Sarawak, Betong and Sarikei would be affected, while Pedalaman and Sandakan in Sabah also estimated to be impacted by thunderstorms.
