Kota Kinabalu: A star-studded list of former football greats from Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia are set to take part in the SMJ Cup Merdeka Football Festival Tournament to be held at the Likas Stadium on September 16.
The inaugural invitational tournament is organised by the Chief Minister’s Department in collaboration with Sabah SS90 Football Club.
Co-organising chairman Datuk Peter Anthony in a press conference held here on Thursday said it is the biggest football tournament ever organised in the State with a RM358,000 total prize money.
