SEMPORNA: Two men have been found drowned after they went missing following a boat crash incident off Kampung Balimbang, here, on Monday.

District Police Chief Supt. Mohd Sabri Zainol said a tour boat carrying 12 tourists was heading towards Pulau Mabul when it collided with a speedboat boarded by two individuals at about 9.45am.

AdvertisementHe said, following the crash, the speedboat skipper and passenger were thrown into the water and reported missing.

"Search efforts have been made by members of public including the boat that was involved in the crash," he said.
