Tyler Herro got traded by the Miami Heat for Giannis Antetokounmpo and shaded the Greek Freak on Instagram.

Herro will likely suit up for his hometown Milwaukee Bucks next season and prove he can lead a franchise after being the premier returning asset in the Antetokounmpo trade.

Nonetheless, Herro seems to have bad feelings towards Giannis after the protracted trade saga, throwing shade on Instagram.

Tyler Herro highlights a stat that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the worst in

On his private Instagram account, or finsta (@wonderdidit), Herro posted a story where he shares the list of the worst mid-range shooters in the NBA (on over 75 attempts), with Antetokounmpo being the worst of the bunch at 26.8 FG% on 82 attempts.

Mid-range shooting is simply not the skill the Heat have acquired Antetokounmpo for, so Herro’s larger point with this is redundant.

Antetokounmpo has never been advertised as an elite jump-shooter. While his downhill skills and athleticism are expected to regress with age, he’s a capable post scorer and a high-level playmaker with DPOY-caliber defensive skills.

It’s unclear why Herro would choose to highlight one of the few weaknesses of Antetokounmpo’s game after the trade without intending it to be a shot at the Greek Freak.

Herro is a former Sixth Man of the Year, but Antetokounmpo is a proven two-time league MVP, one-time DPOY, Finals MVP, and NBA Champion. The Heat would trade him for Antetokounmpo each time that trade becomes available.

Herro will have plenty of opportunity to let his skills do the talking next season as the presumed No. 1 option on the Bucks. It’ll be interesting to see how he thrives in what should be a low-pressure role on a rebuilding Bucks squad.

Antetokounmpo will have championship expectations placed on his shoulders from day one, so he definitely has a lot more to lose next season than Herro.
