DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke loses the Chennah seat to BN in unofficial results, with vote counting still ongoing in Negeri Sembilan.
SEREMBAN: DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has lost the Chennah state seat to Barisan Nasional (BN), according to unofficial results.
The contest was closely fought, with BN securing 5,418 votes at the time of reporting, surpassing the 50 per cent mark.
Loke, who contested the seat for DAP, trailed with 4,762 votes.
The figures remain unofficial and are subject to change pending the completion of the vote-counting process.
