KOTA KINABALU: Upko Youth has expressed full support for calls from the grassroots across all divisions for the party to use its own logo in the 17th State Election to strengthen its identity in Sabah.
Upko Youth secretary Rexie Gubat (pic) said the move reflects the aspirations of the people in Sabah today.
He explained that as the only local party within Pakatan Harapan (PH), using its own logo is both practical and effective in reinforcing public confidence that Upko’s struggle is rooted in Sabah.
Rexie stressed that the approach will not affect Upko’s strategic cooperation with partners in the Federal Unity Government.
He added that using the party logo strengthens Upko’s branding in Sabah, ensures its voice is heard on state rights, and balances Sabah’s interests while remaining part of the national coalition.
