A woman is believed to have repeatedly defecated in front of a shop in Seremban, causing discomfort and frustration among traders in the area.
The incident went viral after a video allegedly showing the woman’s actions was shared on social media on Saturday.
According to a post shared on the NegeriSembilanKini Facebook page, the incidents had occurred multiple times, forcing traders to clean up human waste almost every week.
“Assalamualaikum admin, please help share this post. The incident happened in Taman Dusun Setia, Seremban, where an elderly woman is believed to have repeatedly defecated in front of our shop in this business area.
“Because it happened too frequently, the shop eventually installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and this time the individual was successfully recorded at around 6am,” the post read.
The individual who shared the post said the intention was not to shame anyone, but to encourage the woman’s family members or relatives to step forward and monitor the situation.
“We have not had the opportunity to meet her yet and we do not intend to embarrass anyone. We are simply trying to earn a living running our business here, but if incidents like this continue happening repeatedly, it becomes difficult to remain patient.
“As the famous line from Bujang Lapok starring P. Ramlee goes, ‘Even faeces can start a quarrel.’ This is exactly the situation; if it keeps happening in front of someone’s shop, people will eventually lose patience.
“We hope this matter can be resolved amicably and does not happen again,” the post added, noting that it was a submission from a reader of NegeriSembilanKini.
