KOTA MARUDU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has reaffirmed the State Government and Yayasan Sabah Group’s (KYS) commitment to advancing education, socio-economic growth and environmental sustainability for the benefit of the people.

He said the government places strong emphasis on human capital development to ensure all groups have equal access to quality education while continuing to support programmes that enhance community well-being and environmental protection.

Hajiji, who also chairs the Yayasan Sabah Board of Trustees, said the group remains steadfast in its mission to uplift the quality of life of Malaysians in Sabah through education, welfare services and human capital development.

His speech text, read by Community Development and People’s Well-being Minister Datuk James Ratib, noted that such initiatives were essential to building a more resilient and prosperous Sabah.

The North West Coast Zone leg of the Yayasan Sabah Roadshow (YSBR) 2025 programme at Padang Komuniti Kota Marudu featured exhibitions, welfare aid presentations and community activities as part of KYS’ ongoing outreach across the State.
