MANILA, Philippines — Yeng Constantino is extending her 20th anniversary celebration with a third Manila date for her “Biyaheng Bente” concert. The first two shows at the Smart Araneta Coliseum drew strong support from fans.
Constantino announced the additional show Wednesday through her social media accounts, inviting fans who were unable to get tickets to the first two performances to join the next “trip.”
"Kung hindi nakasakay sa unang dalawang pasada, puwede pa kayong humabol! Kung nakasakay na, byahe ulit?” she added. (If you weren’t able to ride the first two trips, you can still catch up! If you already rode, take the trip again?)
The singer also shared a photo of herself holding a bouquet of flowers while surrounded by friends.
“Isa pa?” (One more?) she wrote in another post, accompanied by check marks for “Biyaheng Bente — Day 1” and “Day 2,” followed by a blank box for Day 3.
“Grabe kayo!” (You guys are amazing!) Constantino added.
The exact date and ticket details for the third Araneta show were not included in her announcement.
The additional concert comes after Constantino’s first two “Biyaheng Bente” performances at the Big Dome, which marked a major milestone in her two-decade career in the entertainment industry.
The two-night concert celebrated the singer-songwriter’s journey from her breakthrough on “Pinoy Dream Academy” in 2006 to becoming one of the most recognizable names in OPM.
Among the highlights during her first two concerts included her reunion with fellow “Pinoy Dream Academy” contestant RJ Jimenez for a performance of “If We Fall in Love."
Constantino was joined by several guest performers during the anniversary shows, including Kyla, Sam Milby, mrld, Angela Ken and Janine Berdin.
She performed some of the songs that have become closely associated with her career, including “Hawak Kamay,” “Ikaw” and “Salamat.”
Among her other hit songs are “Chinito,” "Jeepney Love Story,” “Cool Off,” “Lapit” and “Pangarap Lang.”
The “Biyaheng Bente” celebration continues with a show on Sept. 20 at SM Seaside Cebu Arena.
