Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 169 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, a slight increase from 160 on Tuesday, despite a lower number of test samples. One death was recorded in Kota Kinabalu.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said there were 2,219 samples on Wednesday compared to 2,508 the day earlier, with an increased positivity rate from 7.30 per cent to 8.70 per cent.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 65 cases, followed by Sandakan (14), Tuaran (14), Penampang (10) and Putatan (10).
“Seven districts did not record any new infections, including Tambunan which recorded 11 cases the day earlier,” said Masidi in a statement.
