Sabah's new cases drop to 3,971, but sporadic cases remain high

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's new Covid-19 cases today dropped below the 4,000 mark to 3,971, however, sporadic cases remained high, said spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

"Caseloads below 4K at 3,971 cases but % sporadic infection is high at 67.4%," Masidi announced on Twitter.

"13 districts with 3-digit cases incl KK 735, P’pang 516, Tuaran 410, Tawau 338 & Papar 320.

"12 districts with 2-digit cases, Kudat 9 & Kalabakan 7."

99.09 percent of the new cases were asymptomatic or light infections, added Masidi.
