MANILA, Philippines — The Adamson Lady Falcons soared back to the winning column after denying the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 25-17, 27-25, 25-16, in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum Wednesday.
Shaina Nitura drilled 25 points laced with 15 excellent receptions to lead Adamson to the win, bouncing baack after losing to De La Salle last timeout.
The Lady Falcons elevated to 5-4 for fourth place in the team standings.
Zel Tsunashima paced Ateneo with nine points, three digs, and three receptions.
The Blue Eagles fell to 1-8, ranking seventh in the 8-team league.
