MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle Lady Spikers repeated over the UST Golden Tigresses, 25-12, 18-25, 25-23, 25-14, at the Araneta Coliseum Wednesday to go 9-0 in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament.
Getting through a tough third set, La Salle overwhelmed UST in the fourth with a 7-0 start enroute to the win.
Angel Canino hammered 17 points and logged seven excellent digs on top of five receptions for the league-leading Lady Spikers.
Eshana Nunag dished out 13 excellent sets while Shevana Laput and Shane Reterta added 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Angge Poyos banged 20 points and tallied 12 receptions and seven digs to pace the Tigresses, who dropped to 5-4 for fourth place.
