MANILA, Philippines — The Adamson Lady Falcons pounded on the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 25-19, 25-18, 25-10, at the Mall of Asia Arena Sunday to start their UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball campaign.
Shaina Nitura banged 16 points to lead the Lady Falcons, who took the flight away from the Blue Eagles in the third frame with a 16-1 start en route to the win.
Frances Mordi aided Nitura with 14 markers while Abegail Segui chipped in eight.
Alexia Montoro paced Ateneo with five points.
