
RANAU: The Auxiliary Fire Officer Mountain Search and Rescue (Mosar) was again called to act swiftly to rescue an injured climber on Mount Kinabalu after the 27-year-old male slipped and sprained his left ankle on Monday.
Head of Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) Ranau, PPgB Ridwan Bin Mohd Taib said the incident happened in km 5.8 near Panarlaban of the Mount Kinabalu climber’s trail at about 9.40am.
He said, the Mosar team was called to give assistance to lift an injured victim here through an emergency call via the MERS999 line at 9.47am.
