CEBU Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has opened Astra Lifestyle Center in Mandaue City, Cebu, adding a retail and dining component to its mixed-use Astra Center development as the company expands its commercial offerings in the Visayas.
Located along A.S. Fortuna Street, the retail destination brings together homegrown businesses and Manila-based dining concepts entering Cebu for the first time, including Nabe Izakaya and Hotpot, Refuel Specialty Coffee and Bistro, and Hai Chix and Steaks, CLI said in a disclosure on Friday.
The center also houses local restaurants and cafés such as Tales and Feelings, Commonly Uncommon, Tian Fu, Kalipay Filipino Restaurant, Ondo Bakery, Seoul Moon, Each Café and Cloud Nine Creamery.
Beyond food and beverage, its tenant profile features supermarkets, fashion, beauty, wellness, fitness, children’s activities and home interiors. These include Metro Supermarket, The Little Gym, Well Played Playground, CWC Interiors, Nova Skin and A Plus Clinic Premier Aesthetics.
CLI said more tenants were expected to open, including Little Italy Pizzeria and Studio 300, which will be making its Cebu debut with sports and recreation offerings.
“Astra Lifestyle Center reflects our vision of creating more than just retail spaces, but destinations that become part of people’s everyday lives,” said Joanna Marie Bergundthal, CLI executive vice president and chief people and strategy officer.
The retail center forms part of Astra Center, an integrated development that also includes Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue, a lifestyle hotel developed by CLI subsidiary CLI Hotels and Resorts; One Astra Place, a residential condominium; and the 12-story Astra Corporate Center.
The combination of retail, hospitality, residential and office spaces is designed to serve residents, hotel guests, office workers and other visitors within one development along one of Mandaue City’s established commercial corridors.
Astra Lifestyle Center’s design won Best Retail Architectural Design at the 14th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards in August 2026.
“For us, great design goes beyond aesthetics. It is about creating spaces that make people feel welcome, bring people together and become part of their everyday lives,” Bergundthal said.
CLI, which has its roots in the Visayas and Mindanao, develops residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use properties. The company was named Best Developer in the Philippines at the 2026 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, where it received nine awards overall.
Shares of CLI dropped P0.03, or 1.53 percent, to close at P1.93 each on Friday.
