DAV Public School, Mohal, Kullu, celebrated Founder’s Day with great devotion and enthusiasm with the objective of promoting a harmonious blend of modern and traditional education. To mark the occasion, students organised a series of meaningful activities, including a special Vedic hawan and a skit based on the life and struggles of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. As part of the celebrations, students conducted the hawan following the rituals and traditions of Arya Samaj. A special hawan was independently performed by the newly admitted students of classes XI and XII, who displayed commendable confidence and discipline through proper Vedic mantra chanting and adherence to Vedic practices. The skit vividly depicted the life journey of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, highlighting his search for truth, spiritual enlightenment and tireless efforts towards social and educational reform. Principal RS Rana appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the celebration a grand success. He commended the students for their active participation and encouraged them to imbibe the ideals of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati in their lives. He emphasised the importance of preserving Vedic values while striving for excellence in modern education.
