Cadillac Formula One driver Valtteri Bottas pedals approximately 350km from Sepang, Malaysia, to Singapore ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.
The cross-border journey came to light after the Finnish driver shared his gruelling training logs, fitness stats, and snapshots from the road on his Facebook page.

An epic endurance journey after Sepang
The extraordinary 350km gravel cycling adventure came shortly after the Bahrain Grand Prix, with Bottas setting off from Sepang International Circuit and making his way towards Singapore.
Bottas documented the journey on social media, sharing updates from his fitness tracker as he tackled the challenging route on his Canyon gravel bike.
On Day 2 alone, he covered an impressive 161.9km in 5 hours and 46 minutes, averaging 28.1km/h. Photos from the ride showed him cycling through rural roads and palm oil plantations, with the journey continuing well into the night as he navigated the dark roads under the light of his bike.
He was also cycling alongside his partner, professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell.

Mental preparation for Marina Bay
Known for his passion for gravel cycling, Bottas frequently takes on long-distance rides as a way to stay physically fit and mentally refreshed while taking a break from the pressures of Formula One.

This cross-border ride served as the ultimate physical reset for the Finnish driver, helping him clear his head before entering the demanding, high-humidity environment of the Marina Bay Street Circuit for the Singapore GP weekend.
