MANILA, Philippines — The Farm Fresh Foxies were struggling early in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference—but they figured it all out and barged their way to the qualifying round.

Farm Fresh snapped the five-game winning streak of the Akari Chargers after prevailing in four sets, 25-19, 25-14, 23-25, 25-17, on Saturday night at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

The Foxies opened the 2026 All-Filipino Conference with back-to-back losses before finally scoring a huge victory over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans and the Creamline Cool Smashers.

"We’re slowly getting back into our playing form. All we want is to elevate the team’s performance and bring Farm Fresh to the podium,” Ces Molina said in Filipino during the post-game presser.

Royse Tubino led the scoring for Farm Fresh with 21 points, while Trisha Tubu and Molina backed her up with 19 and 18 points, respectively.

Akari was led by Eli Soyud and Ivy Lacsina, who chimed in 17 and 15 points each.

The Chargers are now relegated to the play-in round, due to the set point ratio, despite being tied at a 5-4 win-loss record with Farm Fresh.
