
Kota Kinabalu: A helicopter carrying government health workers made an emergency landing in a forest reportedly near Kampung Buayan in Penampang, a viral video shows Wednesday.
Reports said the helicopter experienced engine trouble and was on its way back from Kampung Saliliran, Nabawan, to Kota Kinabalu.
“I am informed that Layang Layang [Aerospace Sdn Bhd], the owner of the helicopter rented by the State Health Department (JKNS) as an Flying Doctor Service (FDS), will make a press statement,” Sabah Health Director Datuk Dr. Asits Sanna told Daily Express when contacted.
