KOTA KINABALU: A total of 30 officers and staff of Istana Seri Kinabalu took part in the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony at the palace’s Main Hall.

The pledge was led by Izarudin Jalaludin, Private Secretary to the Sabah Head of State, and witnessed by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah Director Datuk Fuad Bee Basrah.

Izarudin thanked MACC Sabah for its support and reminded staff that corruption comes in many forms, including abuse of power and misappropriation. “Integrity is the key to staying clear of corruption, and it must always be upheld as a guiding principle,” he said.

Also present were MACC Sabah Deputy Directors Syamsul Osman (Operations) and Alexander S. Kunghi (Prevention), as well as Community Education Branch Head Maysara Mohammad and officer Jasni Gayung.
